Isaac Newton actually had the Theory of Light. It stated that light was made of tiny particles. :)

In the 1600s, English natural philosopher Isaac Newton showed that a prism can split white light into a spectrum. It can then be recomposed by a second prism. He saw this as proof that light is made of atom-like particles.
