The answer to this item is POLITICS. The work by Harold Lasswell then became the basis of the modern society for the practice of politics. Lasswell lived from 1902 to 1978. He was the author of 250 scholarly articles and more than 30 books.
He viewed that political science is the branch of science that deals with the study of the changes in the society specifically with regards to the distribution of the value pattern and how this distribution may depend on power and its dynamics. He define power as the ability to get involved in decision making.
