√32 = √8*4 = 4√2

Hey!

First, we have to break 32 into its primes.

32=2^5

=√(2^5)
Since we don't want an odd number, we can split it into two.

=√(2^4\cdot \:2)

=√(2)√(2^4)
Since we want to remove one of the square roots, we have to do something like this:
√(2^4)=2^{(4)/(2)}=2^2
We would be left with,

=2^2√(2)
Simplify the exponent.

=4√(2)
This tells us that the square root of 32 can be simplified.
