The domain is the set of possible values for our variable(in this case x). As you can see in the graph, this function goes from x = -10 to x = 25(but it doesn't include x = 25).

\begin{gathered} D=\lbrace x\in\mathfrak{\Re }|-10\leq x<25\rbrace \\ \lbrack-10,25\lbrack \end{gathered}

The range of a function is the set of possible values for the function. In this graph, our range goes from f(x) = -200 to f(x) = 500, but it doesn't include f(x) = -200.

\begin{gathered} R=\lbrace f(x)\in\mathfrak{\Re }|-200The function evaluated at <strong>x = 0</strong>, is the y-intercept(where the graph intercepts the y-axis). In this graph, the y-intercept value is <strong>300</strong>.<p></p>[tex]f(0)=300

The function with a value of 0, is the x-intercept(where the graph intercepts the x-axis). In this graph, the x-intercept happens at x = 15.

f(15)=0
