M (Slope of a line) = y2 - y1 / x2 - x1

Plug in the points accordingly.

M = 1 - 7 / 10 - 1
M = -6 / 9
M = -2 / 3 (simplified)

Therefore M = -2/3

The slope of the line can be calculated as:

(1-7) / (10-1) = -6 / 9 = -2/3
