We want to create three different expressions that are each equal to 20.

First Expression


(4-2)*10=20

Second Expression


\begin{gathered} (4*10)+(-2*10) \\ =40+(-20) \\ =40-20 \\ =20 \end{gathered}

Third Expression


\begin{gathered} 10\lbrack4+(-2)\rbrack \\ =10\lbrack4-2\rbrack \\ =10*2 \\ =20 \end{gathered}
