\begin{gathered} 7x-3>18\text{ \backslash +3 } \\ 7x>21\text{ \backslash divide by 7} \\ x>3 \end{gathered}
\begin{gathered} 3x-2<-2\text{ \backslash +2} \\ 3x<0\text{ \backslash divide by 3} \\ x<0 \end{gathered}

So x<0 and x>3 this means that x is either less tha zero or greater than 3
