The Kinetic Energy (KE) is calculated using the formula:

KE = 0.5 m v^2

Where,

m = mass of bare helium nucleus = 6.64 ✕ 10^−27 kg

v = velocity = 0.018 c = 0.018 * 3 ✕ 10^8 m / s^2 = 5.4 ✕ 10^6 m / s^2

Calculating:
