In order to multiply fractions we can use the following formula:

(a)/(b)*(c)/(d)=(a* c)/(b* d)

So:

(17)/(3)\cdot(-(3)/(16))=(17\cdot(-3))/(3\cdot16)=-(51)/(48)

Simplify:

-(51)/(48)=-(17)/(16)
