3.1x+4.6=10.8
3.1x+4.6(−4.6)=10.8(−4.6)
3.1x=6.2

3.1x/3.1=6.2/3.1

x=2

3.1(2)+4.6=10.8

3.1x + 4.6 = 10.8

3.1x + 4.6 - 4.6 = 10.8 -4.6
3.1x = 6.2
3.1x/3.1 = 6.2/3.1
x=2
