For the following right triangle, find the side length x:

The right angle triangle will be solved using a Pythagoras theorem :

\text{Hyp}^2=\text{opp}^2+\text{adj}^2

Hypotenuse = x

Opposite = 8

Adjacent = 10

\begin{gathered} \text{Hyp}^2=\text{Opp}^2+adj^2 \\ x^2=10^2+8^2 \\ x^2=100+64 \\ x^2=164 \\ x=\sqrt[]{164} \\ x=12.806 \\ x\cong12.81 \end{gathered}

Therefore Rounding your answer to the nearest hundredth. = 12.81

For the following right triangle, find the side length x. Round your answer to the-example-1
