Answer:

The use of arguments that are logical and supported by its references, names, title and dates.

Step-by-step explanation:

The main purpose of an argumentative research essay is to defend a thesis against an already supported stand.

Being an academic exercise it has to be based on well conceived facts and findings to prove the thesis chosen and provide a convincing conclusion.

The form of persuasive language adopted should be logical. It should be based on facts, figures and case studies.

The evidence provided should be presented in a clear form of writing, leaving no doubts as to the validity and truth of its source.

All facts or information (such as quotations, paraphrases, visual sources - charts, graphs ) provided should be backed by references to its author or origin, title and date. This way, the logical presentation of reasoning can be proved when questioned.
