The slope intercept form is y=mx+b, where m is slope and b is the -intercept

\begin{gathered} 6x+8y=-32 \\ 6x+8y-6x=-32-6x \\ 8y=-32-6x \\ (8y)/(8)=-(32)/(8)-(6x)/(8) \\ y=-(3)/(4)x-4 \end{gathered}

here m = -3/4 and b = -4

therefore the slope of the line equation is -3/4

the y-intercept is - 4

Convert 6x + 8y = -32 to slope-intercept form, then graph it.-example-1
