From the problem, we have :

\sqrt[]{a^3-7}+\lvert b\rvert

substitute a = 2 and b = -4, take note that the value of an absolute value is always positive.

That will be :

\begin{gathered} \sqrt[]{2^3-7}+\lvert-4\rvert=\sqrt[]{8-7}+4 \\ =\sqrt[]{1}+4 \\ =1+4 \\ =5 \end{gathered}

ANSWER :

5
