so first you have to put up an equation x+12=112 elga's age is 100 if im not correct im very sorry

Lets Elga's age = x
12 + x = Alvin
x + 12 + x = 112
2x + 12 = 112
2x = 100
x = 50

Elga's age = 50
Alvin = 50 + 12 = 62
