SOLUTION:

We are to find the degree measure of each angle in the traingle;

< A + < B + < C = 180

Since the triangle is an isosceles triangle, m< A = m< C

(4x + 4 ) + (5x + 29 ) + (4x + 4 ) = 180

4x + 4 + 5x + 29 + 4x + 4 = 180

13x + 37 = 180

13x = 180 - 37

13x = 143

x = 143 / 13

x = 11

m < A = 4x + 4 = 4(11) + 4 = 44 + 4 = 48 degrees.

m < B = 5x + 29 = 5(11) + 29 = 55 + 29 = 84 degrees.

m < C = m < A = 48 degrees.
