Recall that

f(x)=0,

means to find the x-intercept of the graph of a function.

Answer: From the given graphs we get:

7.- The x-intercepts have coordinates (0,0), and (-3,0). Therefore

f(x)=0,

for x=-3 and x=0.

8.- The x-intercepts have coordinates (2,0), and (-4,0). Therefore

f(x)=0,

for x=2 and x=-4.

9.- The x-intercepts have coordinates (3,0), and (-2,0). Therefore

f(x)=0,

for x=-2 and x=3.

10.- The x-intercepts have coordinates (-1,0), and (-4,0). Therefore

f(x)=0,

for x=-1, and x=-4.
