First, we have that 2 is an integer, then, 2 belongs to the set of integers (this also works for the whole numbers)

Also, we can write 2 like this:

2=(2)/(1)

we can write it as a fraction of two integers (2 on the numerator and 1 on the denominator), then, 2 also belongs to the set of rational numbers.

Since 2 is positive, it also belongs to the natural numbers.

Finally, since the real numbers include all the rational, irrational and integers (positive and negative), we have that 2 also belongs to the real numbers.

Therefore, 2 belongs to the set of:

-integers

-natural numbers

-whole numbers

-rational numbers

-real numbers
