First we must find the factors of the polynomial function. As far as we know one of the factors must (x+1) because of the information given P(-1)=0

Factoring we find the two remaining factors.

x^2(2x+3)-(2x+3)

(x^2-1)(2x+3)

(x+1)(x-1)(2x+3)
