X=3/5.....add the 5 to the 0. Then subtract the 2 from the 5 to get 5x=3. Then divide 3 and 5x to get your answer.

The answer is :

x^2 + 5x - 5 = 0

add five to both sides

x^2 + 5x = 5

Complete the square

x^2 + 5x + (5/2)^2 = 5 + (5/2)^2

(x + 5/2)^2 = 5 + 25/4

Take the square root of both sides

x + 5/2 = sqrt(5 + 25/4)

x = sqrt(5 + 25/4) - 5/2

x = sqrt(20/4 + 25/4) - 5/2

x = sqrt(45/4) - 5/2

x = 0.854101966
