When two lines are crossed by another line the angles in matching corners are called Corresponding Angles .When the two lines being crossed are Parallel Lines the Corresponding Angles are equal.

In the figure given PB || JM .

We need to write the reason for statement <AJM is congruent to <APB.

These angles are on matching corners for the parallel lines PB&JM so they are corresponding angles.
