An airplane is carrying 180 passengers, which is 5/6 of the capacity of the airplane. What is the capacity of the airplane?

180 is the 5/6, use a rule of three to find the capacity (In this case the total capacity is 1):


x=(1\cdot180)/((5)/(6))=(180\cdot6)/(5)=(1080)/(5)=216The capacity of the airplane is 216 passengers
