The formula for calculating area of sector is:


\text{Area of Sector=}(\theta\pi r^2)/(360)
\text{where }\theta=42^o\text{ , r=18 units and }\pi=(22)/(7)
\text{Area of Sector= }(42*(22)/(7)*18^2)/(360)=(6*22*324)/(360)=118.8\approx118.80\text{ square units}
