Umm.... Y = -1/3x?

Because it passes through the origin, so it's y = mx, and Rise is -3 and run is 1, and when you do rise over run, you get 1/-3 which is -1/3, which is the slope.

Answer:
y=-(1)/(3)x

Explanation:

Equation of a line that passes through two points (a,b) and (c,d) is given by :-

(y-b)=(d-b)/(c-a)(x-a)

The given points : (0, 0) and (-3, 1)

Then, the equation of the line passing through these points :

(y-0)=(1-0)/(-3-0)(x-0)

\Rightarrow\ y=-(1)/(3)x

Hence, the required equation that passes through (0, 0) and (-3, 1) is
y=-(1)/(3)x.
