21. If RT equals 24, find RU23. There’s a type of triangle in which every angle bisector is also a median, an altitude, and a perpendicular bisector. What type of triangle is it?

from the details given in the triangle:

TrianglePQR, PS and RT are median

If RT = 24,

we should find RU

from the triangle, that U is the centroid

we have median in the ratio 2:3

recall, that RT = 24

The centroid divide the median in the ratio 2:3

The shortest part get the ratio 2

While the longest part get the ratio 3

to get RU, we need to get the total ratio

Total ratio = 2 + 3 = 5

RU = ratio of RT divide by total ratio and multiply by length of RT

Then RU = 3/5 x 24

= 14.4

Therefore, RU = 14.4
