So, we can see that the relation between all of this is that

5x + 17 = ½ [(37x + 5) - (23x - 5)]

5x + 17 = ½ (37x + 5 - 23x + 5)

5x + 17 = ½ (37x - 23x + 5 + 5)

5x + 17 = ½ (14x + 10)

5x + 17 = 7x + 5

5x - 7x = 5 - 17

-2x = -12

Divide both sides by -2

(-2x/-2) = (-12/-2)

x = 6°
