Answer: 5

Explanation:

Given : In the the given kite , we have

TU= 15x-23 and UV = 3x+37

A kite has two pairs of consecutive sides that are equal in length.

In the given figure , we have TU and UV are adjacent shorter sides in the kite , which must be equal.

Then , we have the following equation :-


15x-23=3x+37\\\\\Rightarrow\ 15x-3x=37+23\\\\\Rightarrow\ 12x=60\\\\\Rightarrow\ x=(60)/(12)=5

Hence, the value of x= 5
