When creating a bar graph to represent data, the researcher used a scale that was too small. The outcome was a graph that appeared to show very little variation. This is a classic example of an error in which phase of inferential statistics?

Inferential statistics is when you infer from the results of the sample to what could be happening to the population. You choose a random sample and undergo phases of inferential statistics: data gathering, data organization, data analysis, and probability-faced inference. The step where you make graphs for data analysis is data organization. This is where the researcher made an error on his scale which would be very important in the next phase.
