First convert the miles into meters.

There are 5280 feet in a mile, then there are 12 inches in a foot, then 2.54 centimeters in an inch and then 100 centimeters in a meter. So you get ((262.4)(5280)(12)(2.54))/(100)= 422291.8656 m.

Speed= distance/time
6.2 m/s = 422291.8656 meters/ T (s)
T (s) = 422291.8656 meters/ 6.2 m/s
T (s) = 6811.59123 seconds
