A piece of plastic has a net charge of +2.00 ?c. how many more protons than electrons does this piece of plastic have? (e = 1.60 × 10-19 c)

a neutral atom has a charge of zero which means that the number of protons or the positive charges is equal to the number of electrons or the negative charges. In this case, if the charge is zero, this should mean that the number of electrons is 2 less than the number of protons present in the atom.
