The given equation is : A = B + C

To solve the equation for B

Remove all the elements that are with B

A = B + C

Here, we don't want C with B

So, Subtract C from both side of equation :

A - C = B + C - C

A - C = B + 0

A - C = B

Reverse the elements : i.e. x = y into y = x

A - C = B on reverse becomes :

B = A - C

The solution for B is B = A - C

Answer : B = A - C
