It could be either a semicolon or a comma. A semicolon is used if there is like a phrase (e.g. they are going to the store; buying books; and playing guitar.) You can think of the semicolon as a comma on steroids. A comma is just for a normal list (e.g. I want to eat pizza, cookies, and bacon.)
