For this problem we know that the measure of x and y are equal. So then we can set up the following equation:


3(m+2)=5m-58

If we distribute the terms in the left of the equation we got:


3m+6=5m-58

And solving for m we got:


58+6=2m
m=(64)/(2)=32

And then the final answer for this case would be m=32
