g(2) = 4(2) - 5 = 8 - 5 = 3
g(-4) = 4(-4) - 5 = -16 - 5 = -21

g(2) is higher then g(-4)

Answer:

g(-4) is less than
g(2)

Explanation:

We have been given a function
g(x)=4x-5. We are asked to compare and contrast g(2) and g(-4).

First of all, we will find g(2) and g(-4) as:

g(x)=4x-5

g(2)=4(2)-5

g(2)=8-5

g(2)=3

g(x)=4x-5

g(-4)=4(-4)-5

g(-4)=-14-5

g(-4)=-19

Since
-19<3, therefore,
g(-4) is less than
g(2)
