f(x) = (x -g)(x - h)

To get the x-intercept, we can equate the function to zero

f(x) = (x -g)(x - h) = 0

so (x - g) = 0

which gives x = g

And (x - h) = 0

which gives x = h

Since we have been told that g and h are positive, then it follows that both intercepts are positive
