Answer:

Needed Materials: Scale, Spatula, funnel of some sort, foil paper, stirring rod, graduated cylinder, beaker, lab coat, gloves, goggles.

Step-by-step explanation:

Measure out 2 g of sodium bicarbonate using a scale, with the foil paper on top of the scale, zero the scale, then using the spatula remove the sodium in small increments from the container and slowly add it to the foil paper until it weighs exactly 2 g.

In the graduated cylinder measure out the needed 50 mL of distilled water (measure while reading at eye level), add the water to the beaker and then the sodium bicarbonate to reduce chemical exposure time, slowly stir until the sodium bicarbonate is completely dissolved.

The materials needed for the experiment are as follows: weighing machine, foil paper, spatula, conical flasks, stirring rod and measuring cylinder. To measure out 2g of sodium carbonate, you need a sensitive weighing machine that has been properly zero. Put a small paper foil and put it on the weighing machine and adjust the machine to zero. Use your spatula to take sodium carbonate out of its container and put it gradually on the paper foil on the weighing machine until the weight is exactly 2g. With a measuring cylinder, measure out 50ml of distilled water and add the water to sodium carbonate, stirring it until all the particles dissolves.
The following precautions are necessary: be properly dressed in lab coat, gloves and nose mask. Make sure you taking your reading at eye level when measuring distilled water. Measure out the distilled water first so that you can add sodium carbonate immediately you measure it out. This reduced the exposure time of the chemical.
