hello :
5w +9z=2z+3w
5w+9z-3w =2z+3w-3w
2w+9z =2z
2w+9z-9z = 2z-9z
2w = -7z
w = (-7/2)z

Answer: The value of w=-7/2z in the given equation.

Explanation:

Given equation 5w +9z=2z+3w

Subtract 3w from both the sides,we get

⇒5w+9z-3w=2z+3w-3w

⇒5w-3w+9z=2z+0 [commutative property of addition]

⇒2w+9z=2z [simplify]

Subtract 9z from both the sides, we get

⇒2w+9z-9z=2z-9z

⇒2w= -7z[Simplify]

Dividing both sides by 2, we get

⇒2w/2= -7/2

Cancel 2 from numerator and denominator,we get

⇒w= -7/2z
