2. So, that not so smart man from Jurassic Park 3... he took his stepson parasailing- remember howthat ended? Well, before they crash land, the paracord makes an angle of 51° with the horizontaland has a tension of 350 N. Determine the horizontal and vertical components of the tensionforce.

Use the following formulas to find the vectorial components of the tension force.

\begin{gathered} T_x=T\cdot\cos \theta \\ T_y=T\cdot\sin \theta \end{gathered}

Where T = 350 N and theta = 51.

\begin{gathered} T_x=350N\cdot\cos 51\approx220.26N \\ T_y=350N\cdot\sin 51\approx272N \end{gathered}

Therefore, the horizontal component of the tension force is 220.26 N, and the vertical component of the tension force is 272 N.
