First find the slope which is
(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1) which if you plug in the points becomes
(10-5/2)/(4--6) = (7.5)/(10) = (3)/(4)

Option A has the slope 3/4 so therefore that's the answer.

If we had multiple options with 3/4 as the slope, you would have to substitute one of the ordered pairs in the equation y = 3/4x + b and find b, which would be the y-intercept, and that is how you would get the answer, but in our case, we don't need to.
