Alfred Adler disagreed with Freudian theory, suggesting that finding meaning in one's life is the major motivator of all behavior. Adler was an Austrian medical doctor and psychotherapist and is also known for his studies on inferiority complex. He considered humans as a "whole" and have developed a different kind of Psychology known today as Individual Psychology.
