f(x)=x/4

Domain interval [0,8]

using a graphing tool

Evaluate the integral


\int_0^8(x)/(4)dx=8

Verify

Calculate the area of the right triangle in the above figure

A=(8)(2)/2

A=8 unit2 ----> is ok
