For angle 30 degree, perpendicular side is 16, base is x and hypotenuse side is y.

Determine the length of side x by using trigonometry.

\begin{gathered} \tan 30=(16)/(x) \\ \frac{1}{\sqrt[]{3}}=(16)/(x) \\ x=16\sqrt[]{3} \end{gathered}

Determine the measure of y by using trigonometry.

\begin{gathered} \sin 30=(16)/(y) \\ (1)/(2)=(16)/(y) \\ y=32 \end{gathered}

So option b is correct.
