Explain how you would graph the line containing a slope of –1/5 that goes through the point (1,–4).

so the slope is -1/5 and then to find the y intercept you would first multiply 1 and -1/5 which is -1/5 and then add it to -4 which is -3.8. Then you would graph the equation y = -1/5x - 3.8. starting with plotting the y intercept and then working you way up or down using the slope. this would be a negative line because it is a negative slope.
