There are 3 types of listening:
a Informational listening= listening to learn
b Critical listening= listening to evaluate and analyse
c Therapeutic/Emphatic listening= listening to understand feeling and emotion
When someone is trying to convince me of something, i would be listening to evaluate, not for how the person teaches or feels. My answer is Critical Listen is the priority to a persuasive speech.
