Technology is important because it helps people in their daily lives. Nowadays it's hard to find a job that doesn't involve technology. Not to mention that we wouldn't have certain jobs without technology. Techology can/has help(ed) save lives, if we didn't have technology in the medical field we wouldn't be able to save so many lives. On top of many more jobs.
