Aldosterone (ADH) are hormones to balance fluid volume. ADH stimulates sodium and water retention. If ADH is released when we are dehydrated the secretion of sodium depletion is associated with loss of plasma volume. If we do not have an adequate supply of blood all our organs will start to shut down and it could even cause death.
