Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. strategy to get their voice heard was by doing peaceful protests. In contrast, Malcolm X was known to promote riots and violent protests, which got him into jail.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr: Believed that the key to getting equal rights was to not use violence.
Malcom X: believed that they should use any way to get equal rights, and the use of violence was included in it
