A potter uses 3/5 of a pound of clay to make a bowl. How many bowls could be made from 10 pounds of clay?

In my opinion it would be 3/50
You divide 10 by 3/5 to get 3/50
Hope this helps!

\bf \begin{array}{ccllll} bowls& \begin{array}{llll} lbs\ of\\ clay \end{array}\\ \textendash\textendash\textendash\textendash\textendash\textendash&\textendash\textendash\textendash\textendash\textendash\textendash\\ 1&(3)/(5)\\\\ x&10 \end{array}\implies \cfrac{1}{x}=\cfrac{(3)/(5)}{10}\iff\cfrac{1}{x}=\cfrac{(3)/(5)}{(10)/(1)} \\\\\\ \cfrac{1}{x}=\cfrac{3}{5}\cdot \cfrac{1}{10}\implies \cfrac{1}{x}=\cfrac{3}{50}\implies 50=3x\implies \cfrac{50}{3}=x
