You have a disount of 10% so you'll be paying only 90% of the actual price so your ticket will be
0.9*220=198
Adding the service charge to the total, you'll have to pay 110.5% of the total so what you're paying is
1.105*198=218.79

Answer:

We will pay $218.79 for the ticket.

Explanation:

Basic price of an airline ticket is $220 and we have given a discount code of 10%, so cost of the ticket for us will be

= Basic price - 10% of the ticket price

Basic price of the ticket = 220 - 10% of 220 = 220 - 22 = $198

Since we have to pay the service charge on the basic price of the ticket therefore cost price of the ticket for us will be

Cost price = 198 + 10.5% of 198 = 198 + 20.79 = $218.79

Therefore we have to pay $218.79 for the ticket.
