The first positive effect of cell phones is being able to call for help. 911 is able to be called the minute something happens. If we didn't have that then our death rates would shoot up and a lot more funeral land would be covered with flowers and headstones. The second positive effect of cell phones is being able to keep peoples numbers in your contact list. Most times it is hard to remember phone numbers or you lose the paper it was written on.
